For Australian CFOs and finance leaders

You're expected to lead on AI.
Where do you actually learn it?

AI Finance Forum is where Australian finance leaders learn to use AI on their own numbers. Live monthly masterclasses, a library of local tools and workflows, and a private room of CFOs and controllers doing the same work. Built for Xero and MYOB, the ATO, and the way finance runs here.

Free to join for the founding cohort, by application. Hosted by Nick Urry, founder of dexIQ.

The problem

You are meant to lead on AI, with nowhere to actually learn it.

The tutorial hole

You've watched the webinars and saved the prompt lists. None of it was built for a BAS, a month-end close, or a board pack, so it never makes it into the actual work.

Tool noise

A new finance AI tool launches most weeks. Most are US-first, ignore Australian tax, and won't touch your Xero data safely. Working out what is real takes hours you do not have.

Leading it alone

Your team looks to you to set the standard on AI. There is no one in the building a step ahead of you, so you are guessing in private about something you are meant to lead.

What's inside

Built for the work you already do.

One membership. Everything is taught on real Australian finance work, not code and not theory.

01

Live monthly masterclass

One process taken from messy to automated on real Australian finance data, live and recorded. You watch it built, then you build your own.

02

The tool review

Every month, which finance AI tools are worth paying for and which are not, tested against Xero, MYOB and the ATO's rules. No affiliate noise.

03

Process deep dives

Step-by-step builds for BAS prep, month-end close, cash flow forecasting, accounts payable and board reporting. Take the workflow, run it Monday.

04

Prompt and template library

Australian-specific prompts and working files, not generic ones. Written for our tax, our software and our reporting.

05

Member expert network

Post a real problem, get a worked answer from Nick and the room, usually within a day. The room has seen your problem before.

06

Private community

A closed room of Australian finance operators on Circle. Small and senior on purpose, not ten thousand lurkers.

Who runs it

Hosted by someone who does this every day.

Nick runs dexIQ, an Australian accounts-payable platform, and Dexterous Group, an outsourced finance firm. His day job is putting AI into real finance workflows for Australian businesses, inside Xero and MYOB, against the ATO's rules.

He is not a tutorial account. Australian finance teams already follow his work on how AI is changing bookkeeping and reporting. He hosts every masterclass in the Forum himself, in the room with members.

How it works

A real filter, so the room stays senior.

1

You apply

Tell us your role and what you run in finance. Two minutes.

2

Nick reviews it

Nick reads every application himself. The Forum stays senior and Australian, so this is a real filter.

3

You're in

If it is a fit, you get your invite to the private community and the details for the next session. Most people hear back within 48 hours.

Founding member quotes, published as the first cohort reports back.

We would rather show you nothing than borrow someone else's words. Real named quotes from Australian finance leaders will land here as the founding cohort starts building.

Questions

The things finance leaders ask first.

Is this for me?

If you own the numbers, a finance function, or the AI mandate inside an Australian business, yes. CFOs, financial controllers, finance managers, FP&A and senior bookkeepers. If you want a generic intro-to-AI course, this is the wrong room.

I'm not technical. Will I keep up?

Yes. Everything is taught on finance work you already do, not code. If you can build a formula in Excel, you can do everything in the Forum.

What does it cost?

It is free to join for the founding cohort. Membership is by application, not by payment, so the room stays senior and Australian. You get the 12 live masterclasses a year, the monthly tool review, the process and template library, the member expert network and the private community.

How is this different from the overseas AI finance communities?

It is built for here. Xero and MYOB, the ATO, BAS and month-end the Australian way, and sessions run in AEST. You are in a room of Australian finance leaders, not learning US tax you will never use.

Is my Xero and client data safe?

We teach the safe patterns first. You never paste client data into public tools, and every workflow is built with confidentiality and the ATO in mind. That discipline is part of the curriculum, not an afterthought.

How much time does it take?

About an hour a week. One masterclass a month, plus the workflows you choose to build. It is designed for people who do not have spare time.

Will it stay free?

At this stage, yes. We have no plans to charge for it. We do want to keep the community at a premium level, so that will be assessed as it grows. There is nothing to pay to apply now.

Who runs it?

Nick Urry, founder of dexIQ and Dexterous Group. Nick hosts every masterclass himself and answers in the community.
