Membership terms

Last updated 9 July 2026.

These terms cover your membership of AI Finance Forum, a free, application-only community for Australian finance leaders, hosted by Nick Urry. By applying and joining, you agree to them. We have kept them plain so you know exactly what you are signing up for.

Membership and cost

Membership is free for the founding cohort. There is nothing to pay to apply or to join. If we introduce a paid tier in future, we will tell members first, and founding members will keep access on the terms they joined on. Nothing here obliges you to pay anything.

Application and approval

The forum is application-only. You apply through the form on this site, and Nick reviews each application. We approve members who fit the room, which keeps the community useful for everyone in it. Applying does not guarantee a place, and we may decline an application without giving a reason.

What your membership includes

An active membership gives you access to the Circle community and to the live sessions we run for members, along with the resources we share inside the community. We may change the schedule or format of sessions from time to time as the forum grows.

Acceptable use

The forum works because members share openly with peers. Please keep what other members share inside the community, treat people with respect, and do not use the community to spam, sell to, or harvest the details of other members. Your login is for you alone and is not to be shared. We may suspend or remove access for members who break these terms or act in a way that harms the community.

Leaving

You can leave at any time. Let us know or leave the community, and we will remove your access. Since membership is free, there is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund.

Intellectual property

Session recordings, templates, workbooks and other materials we share are provided for your own use as a member. You are welcome to use them in your own work. Please do not resell them, republish them publicly, or pass them on to people outside the community. You keep ownership of anything you create and share, and by posting it you allow other members and us to view and use it within the forum.

Liability

The forum shares ideas, tools and approaches for using AI in finance. What you do with them is your call, and you remain responsible for your own decisions, your data, and meeting your own compliance obligations. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for outcomes that follow from acting on anything shared in the community.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here is always the current one, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a material change, we will let members know.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
